Facilities to enhance learning
We work towards providing the best possible facilities to enhance our students' learning and experiences. This is some of what is on offer:
Creative Arts Centre
The wonderful Creative Arts Centre houses our Art, Design and Technology, Media, and Visual Communication and Design classes as well as the Food Technology Centre. Our annual Art Exhibition, where students' work is showcased for parents and the school community to admire, is testament to the creativity of our students and the wide range of mediums they have to work with. The Sinclaire Trust Enterprise Centre
The Sinclaire Trust Enterprise Centre houses the Primary and Secondary libraries. More than just a physical space for students to find books, do research and complete homework, the libraries are used by students to browse and read, play board games, chat, draw pictures, create a project, play with the puppets in the puppet theatre and focus on revision. Students also enjoy talks from visiting authors and participate in the Young Australians Best Book Awards. Back to top
The Founders Centre
The Founders Centre is a multi purpose building for the Primary area. It provides a welcoming space for primary events and performances. It is also a wonderful venue for parent functions and is a public meeting place for Plenty Life Church. It holds 300 people seated and has a portable stage, AV equipment and kitchen facilities. Equestrian
The Equestrian Centre provides our students with full riding facilities. Students can either take lessons or compete on their own horses or on horses provided by the School. Ivanhoe Grammar School hosts and participates in interschool competitions throughout each year and enjoys a high level of success, with many of our riders going onto senior competition. Back to top
Performing Arts
There is a wide range of performing arts opportunities at Plenty. Through our music department, students can learn a wide variety of instruments, even the bagpipes! There is also a strong tradition of vocal music. There are ensembles, concert bands, choirs and bands for students to join throughout their primary and secondary years. In addition, the school musicals, held every year for secondary and every second year for primary, are a wonderful showcase of the talent of the Plenty Campus. The School has an arrangement with the nearby Plenty Ranges Arts and Convention Centre, which allows our musicals to be held in a professional theatre with full lighting and sound facilities.
